City of Dallas Seeks Community Input for Federal Compliance

On June 25th, the Dallas City Council directed the City Manager to ensure full compliance with federal executive orders and related grant guidance. These orders require federal grant recipients to certify ongoing compliance with federal anti-discrimination laws, including that decision-making does not rely on race, gender, ethnicity, or national origin. City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert ordered a temporary pause on such practices and launched a City-wide policy review. The City of Dallas values community voices and will continue to invest in neighborhoods and expand opportunity. Residents are invited to participate in community engagement sessions to share feedback.
